• Alaska Airlines:- This airline allows one-time minor name change correction which is totally free of charge. Corrections are only allowed for up to three letters, misspelt names, and first-name completion. Furthermore, names can be inverted and last names can be changed due to marriage or divorce. A $125 name transfer fee is allowed in Alaska Airlines. This charge fee will be waived when transferring a ticket from a gold member to another traveller. The name transfer fee gets applied when transferring a ticket from a non-Gold member to a Gold member.
• American Airlines:- This carrier allows minor changes in misspellings, married/maiden/divorce names, legal names, secondary last names, inverted names, etc. American Airlines allows its customers to change their names to match the ones on the TSA government-required documents. However, it is not allowed to change your name or give it to someone else.
• Delta Airlines:- On the ticket, Delta Air Lines gives you the option to change your first or middle name. Corrections to the last name can be made up to three letters, and if you accidentally hyphenated your second name, you can still fix this as long as it’s not the name of another person. Don’t worry if you ever accidentally booked with your first and surname name reversed since you are covered.
• United Airlines:- This is the fourth largest US airline. A ticket cannot be transferred to another individual at United. If you bought your ticket through United during the previous 24 hours and did so at least one week before the original departure flight, you might be eligible for a waiver of the change or cancellation costs, under the airline’s 24-hour flexible booking policy. The basic economy tickets cannot be changed on United Airlines. If you want to cancel the economy ticket and get a full refund within 24 hours of purchase, it can be done if you make your purchase at least one week before the original departure date.
• JetBlue Airways:- JetBlue Airways allows you to make your changes quite easily. If you have used your nickname on the flight ticket, you can get it changed, by adding a middle name, adding a last name, or an inverted name. Only one correction per customer is possible.
